The sophisticated casual Carter is designed to appeal to the imagination, independence and individuality of Tweens and Teens aged 8-18 and allow them to create a room that feels like a studio apartment living space. Carter's grown up style and design longevity allow it to easily move and adapt in various stages of a Tween or Teen's room or a young adult's first apartment.
In a transitional, non-gender-specific style and warm medium brown finish with light distressing and burnishing, Carter has clean lines that run horizontally. The simple horizontal pull hardware fits nicely into the horizontal lines of the 15-piece collection. Function and flexibility was considered during every stage of Carter's development, with plenty of storage function, from the unique sliding door mirror with interior shelves, corkboard and metal hooks to piers and bridges and under bed and platform storage.
 The Carter wall is especially versatile. For a pure bedroom function, the center section can be a twin or full bed. For more of a "living space" approach, the center section can be a desk or a TV console instead. The Carter wall pier sits on the nightstands and can be flanked on both sides by the entertainment center, desk or bed. The abundance of bunching pieces, along with the casual styling of the group, allows young people to create their own personal living space that feels like a studio apartment without the kitchen.
Several functional footboard options include a trundle/under bed storage combination, under bed storage with drawers on the sides and under bed storage with drawers on the sides and end. Carter is constructed of hardwood solids and birch veneers.
