At the fall 2011 High Point Market: Hooker Furniture is adding two new collections and expanding another in its youthful, clean, casual and affordable Envision line, with an emphasis on architectural design inspiration.

The fall introductions are a reinforcement of Envision’s distinct features when compared to the core Hooker assortment. The Envision distinctive include more moderate scale, affordable pricing and a younger, cleaner and more contemporary design orientation.
Ludlow is the most comprehensive introduction, including bedroom, dining, home office, entertainment and occasional. Constructed of hardwood solids and walnut veneers, Ludlow has a deep and rich finish, along with an intriguing veneer story and hip fretwork detail with a Macintosh inspiration. Two bed options are offered with the same storage footboard on each selection, and a twin bed is offered as well. Two dining tables are offered including a round table with glass top and fretwork base and a rectangular table.
The Marquette bedroom is also inspired by modern architectural elements, most notably with the dramatic Art Nouveau-influenced egg-shaped fretwork featured on the signature sleigh bed. Case pieces have flaired legs, subtle curved lines and cup hardware. The finish has exquisite veneers and the cases are clean lined and sophisticated with a lot of motion.
Also in the Envision line, Hooker is adding a utility desk and bookcases and home entertainment items to the Wendover collection. Wendover lends itself to rooms with hardwood floors and sisal rugs. Crafted in cherry veneers and hardwood solids, the collection has a clear medium cherry finish with light physical distressing. Hardware is a unique handle with a forged look in an antique metal finish that works on both drawers and doors.
