Hooker is introducing a new laptop-friendly power bar in all of its home office products that can be accessed from the front or back. Called "Power Director II," the functional feature offers high speed data hook ups and USB in and out hookups, allowing the bar to become a USB hub for using with digital cameras, palm pilots, etc.
The new power bar will be featured in all new products with a conversion date to be determined on old products. Since it is the same size as the old power bar, it can be retrofitted.
The front of the bar features: 2 electrical outlets, high speed data out, phone out and USB in/out. The back features: 4 electrical outlets, one not switched; high speed data in/out, phone in/out and USB in/out. Power Director II comes with a $10,000 connected equipment warranty.
