In undergrad at Alabama, I worked at Fitts Architects where I was exposed to the design process for both commercial and residential projects. After graduating, I worked at the Florida State Historic Capitol as a graphic designer. There I became more interested in historic designs and preservation. I applied to the University of Georgia's Historic Preservation Masters program. During school, I continued utilizing my interior design skills through working with a builder and his clients on new builds and renovation projects. My position at GDC Home in Charleston, SC, really propelled me back into the design field. The sales/design consultant position inundated me with the latest design products and trends. I received training on many different furniture vendors, so I feel confident selling all types of furniture. I am happy to share my knowledge and experience with project, I enjoy new design challenges!
